Paul Shields joins the fun at Rugbytots
Pauls ShieldsAfter a succesful playing carrer that saw Paul capped by Ireland he now hopes to pass on his experiences to the very youngest generation by helping his wife Gemma run the Northampton franchise of Rugbytots. Rugbytots used for Cbeebies new show Mighty Mites
CbeebiesMighty-Mites is a high-energy new series, presented by Sarah-Jane Honeywell, which inspires children to get up and have a go at a range of exciting activities – from circus skills to indoor skiing. In each episode, bubbly presenter Sarah-Jane and excitable and inquisitive puppet "Go-Joe" take two children on a journey to try an activity for the very first time. For more information click here.

The Rugbytots Bike Ride raises over £50k for the NSPCC
Bike Ride On the 28th May 2010 The Rugbytots London to Paris Bike Ride commenced. After three gruelling days of cycling the 30 strong Rugbytots team finally reached Paris having raised an astonishing £50k for the NSPCC. A great bunch comprising of Rugbytots coaches, parents, friends and suppliers all came together to smash the original target of £28k. Rugbytots chosen for Cbeebies new show
CbeebiesRugbytots has been chosen to take part in a new Cbeebies production called Same Smile, which sees presenter Nisha Anil cycling across the UK with her group of three cuddly pandas to visit children and discover that we are all the same, but different. Rugbytots feature in the programme titled “My Hobby” where the lead character Callum learns how to play rugby with Rugbytots. “Mogo the bear loves to watch the warm up exercises and Callum and his classmates include Mogo in some of their Rugbytots games” To watch the video click here

Scotsman Rugbytots in Edinburgh has recently received coverage from national newspaper The Scotsman. Under the title “Having a ball” the paper leads the report on sport for young children with a review of what a fantastic job the Edinburgh Rugbytots team are doing. Rugbytots Berks' "Try-athalon" raises £3.5k
Certificate A huge well done and thank you to the Rugbytots Berkshire team who ran a Try-athalon in order to raise money for the NSPCC. Some very tired young legs scored a massive 3000 tries in one week to raise funds for the Rugbytots London to Paris bike ride in May, with all proceeds going to the NSPCC. A huge thank you to all the parents and children for their participation and generosity.

nspccRugbytots has chosen the NSPCC as their nominated charity. In addition to organising fundraising events throughout the year, Rugbytots donates 50p of every new registration to the NSPCC. Cape TownRugbytots South Africa is officially open with classes now filling up across Cape Town. Launched in January, Rugbytots in Cape Town has rapidly grown in popularity with some great feedback from local parents.
